Sales Representative - Proactive Maintenance (PM)Location: West Lebanon, NHReports to: Vice-President of OperationsJob Summary:Alliance Group is seeking a HVAC Sales Representative for Proactive Maintenance (PM) to join our West Lebanon, NH branch. This individual will be responsible for reaching sales goals based on a yearly timeline for Proactive Maintenance regarding mechanical, electrical, and building controls systems by growing a customer base. This may occasionally require climbing ladders and accessing rooftop equipment to bid PMs appropriately, working with customers to draft maintenance agreements. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of our industry, utilizing knowledge and skills in a sales environment to provide customers with the best solutions. Key Responsibilities:• Obtain baseline sales goals based on yearly timeline.• Maintain sales profitability (working with Sales Manager to maintain profit margins).• Developing new sales leads and potential customer lists.• Administration of agreements.• Develop and maintain a contact list for sales procedures to maximize department efficiency.• Inspect equipment for PM bids - this will occasionally require climbing a ladder or access equipment on a roofEssential Qualifications and Competencies:• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in mechanical andor trades field required.• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and industry customer needs and service required..• Associate's degree in a business-related field desired.• Very strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to create and build relationships.• High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.• Must be very comfortable and reliable working independently.• Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills.• Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player.• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.• 10-20% travel, primarily locally. Occasional travel to other site offices located in Essex & North Clarendon, VT, Bow, NH, and Plattsburgh, NY, will be required. Company vehicle and gas card provided.• The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.• U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory• A background verification will be required.
