Most of these projects are small and located in East Texas.ResponsibilitiesThe Estimator will assist with managing the estimation process for all pipeline-related projects including integrity bids, pipeline patching, and replacementThis role requires an understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project scope to provide accurate cost estimates and ensure the successful execution of projects within budgetCost estimate for replacement of pipeline, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheadAnalyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements and scopeCollaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimatesPrepare and submit bid proposals, ensuring they align with client requirements and project specifications, and update estimates and proposals as necessary in response to bid documents and scope changesLeverage current pricing agreements with key vendor partnerships, where applicable, to drive cost savings and standardization across all project typesEvaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes ensuring they are in line with project requirements and budget constraintsMonitor project costs and performance against estimates to identify and address any discrepanciesMaintain detailed records of estimates, bid submissions, and project cost data RequirementsMust be able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in estimating pipeline replacement projectsExcellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teamsKnowledge of Microsoft Management Software
