SummarySelby Jennings is partnered with a leading High Frequency Trading Firm (HFT) looking to bring on an FPGA engineer to drive continued optimization of my clients trading systems while coordinating with technical teams throughout the organization such as development, infrastructure, research, and trading to achieve optimal performance. In this role, you will:Architect and design solutions to accelerate key areas of our infrastructure including hardware selection and key functional blocksImplement solutions from the board to API and deploy out to a production environmentInteract with software teams to capture and design solutions in hardware QualificationsPreferences for this role include:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplineIdeally 1-3 years of experience developing hardware solutions. Higher education (MastersPh.D.) can be a substitute for commercial experienceExperience with FPGA design and architecture, and the ability to translate problems into hardware solutions.Experience with Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL is requiredExisting knowledge of ethernet and TCPIP is strongly preferredExperience within Financial services is preferred, but not requiredExperience with CC++, Python is highly desired, but not required Estimated Compensation Range: $150,000 - $200,000 base + Bonus
