Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer 1 in Mossville, IL. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $38hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.Typical task breakdown:Working with lead engineers to define which field population of engines need proactive diagnostic analysis and defining timing the analysis is needed.Creating weekly diagnostic summaries and reports for all our active NPI programs.Reviewing these reports with the technical team and lead engineers to define next steps.Analyze field data, software logic, and calibrations to determine if changes are neededWorking at least 4 hours each week with our NPI manager for NPI gateway preparation: Engine electronic bill of material review and cost, requirements follow up and coordination, as well as summarizing diagnostics for NPI teraction with team:Daily interaction with team members in the section and outside of our immediate team.Work environment:Typically, office environment. Possibly some opportunity for lab and later some field experience. 10% or less needing PPE gearEducation & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering fieldNo 2 year degreesOpen to mastersTop 3 SkillsData analysis and interpretationCommunication skillsEmbedded systemsAdditional Technical Skills Ability to troubleshoot issues due to test equipment, engineering tools, harnessing, bench setupsProficient in the use of lab test equipment familiarity (scopes, meters, power supplies, etc.), and relative experience with data analysis.Ability to create and execute electronic test plans relative to Engine or Power System ECM (electronic control module), software, actuators, sensors, injectors, and harnessing.Soft SkillsStrong documentation skillsGood verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage timeAdaptability and flexibility, our programs are dynamic and adjustments to priorities will occurCritical thinking and problem solving
