We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team.Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within the organization. The Maintenance Electrician will work to ensure all electrical components are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth production operations.Key Responsibilities:Predictive MaintenanceDevelop and implement an electrical maintenance programMust be able to work with a small team with instrumentation and automationInspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipmentTroubleshoot electrical problems and determine solutions in a timely mannerInstall and test electrical wiring, circuits, and fixturesPerform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to reduce the likelihood of failureEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including local electrical codes and guidelinesRespond quickly and effectively to electrical failures or malfunctionsRead and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsCollaborate with the production and engineering teams to address electrical issues affecting productionMaintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activitiesAssist with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as neededEnsure proper labeling and identification of circuits and electrical equipmentParticipate in on-call emergency response rotation for after-hours troubleshooting and repairsKeep work areas clean and organized, following all safety protocolsQualifications:Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or in a similar roleIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnosticsFamiliarity with local electrical codes and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a teamProficiency with electrical hand tools and diagnostic equipmentAbility to lift and carry heavy equipment as neededMust be available to work flexible hours and be part of an on-call rotationEducation & Certifications:High school diploma or equivalentLow voltage, high current system experienceCompletion of an electrical apprenticeship program (preferred)Valid Electrician's License (as required by local regulations).in the state of MassachusettsAdditional certifications in industrial electrical systems or maintenance (preferred)Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces for extended periodsCapability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more when requiredComfortable working with high voltage systems and under various environmental conditions Additional Information:You will be working in a small team environment where teamwork and good relationships with other team members are critical.
