Job Summary: The Commercial Sales Manager manages the sales activities of the organization by performing various tasks. This position serves as an educated reference point for the Sales department with regards to the commercial portion of proposals. Roles & Responsibilities:Prepare and submit a sales quotation to customer, which includes thermal design, costing and specification review and clarificationsCommunicate and research customer needs to develop competitive and applicable offeringNegotiate with customer to obtain order while focusing on company profitability and ability to fabricate within quotation constraintsAssign quotations and provide multipliers to the Sales DepartmentExhibit a detailed level understanding of Terms and Conditions and large project negotiations.Document sales activity of assigned proposals within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) softwareComply with requirements of Tender Review and Approval Process as required.Attend design verification meetings, if required, to successfully transition order management to projectsMaintaining up-to-date awareness of industry trends, government regulations and shop capabilitiesSource and negotiate pricing and delivery from sub-suppliers during quotation stageParticipate in sales forecasting and planningJob Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field from a four-year college or university.4+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment.Experience with costing and creatingsubmitting quote proposals.Experienced with Sales Forecasting and Planning.
