This role offers a chance to contribute to the success of complex projects by preparing precise and competitive estimates.Responsibilities:Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates.Prepare and submit competitive bids for HVAC and mechanical projects.Source and negotiate pricing with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project scope and objectives.Perform take-offs and calculate labor, material, and equipment costs.Assist in value engineering to optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, trends, and regulations.Support contract negotiations and pre-construction planning efforts.Must-Have Skills:3+ years of experience in HVAC or mechanical estimating for commercialindustrial projects.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and mechanical components.Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Nice to Have Skills:Experience working with property managers or facility maintenance teams.Familiarity with local construction codes and regulations.Prior field experience in HVAC or mechanical systems.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the success of commercial and industrial projects with a company known for delivering high-quality mechanical solutions.
