Electrical Engineer

Full Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, circuit design, and embedded systems, with the ability to contribute to both hardware and firmware development. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop circuits and systems for embedded applications.Implement firmware using ANSI C and Embedded C for Microchip or Nordic Semiconductor microcontrollersmicroprocessors.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and firmware components.Perform low-power circuit design and analog circuit design for various applications.Assist in PCBA layout and schematic design. Familiarity with Altium is preferred.Develop and execute test plans, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 standards.Conduct testing and validation of designs.Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to hardware and firmware.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (EE) or a closely related field.Proven experience in circuit design and hardwarefirmware development.Proficiency in ANSI C programming.Experience with Microchip and Nordic Semiconductor microcontrollers is preferred.Familiarity with embedded data bus protocols such as UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, etc.Strong understanding of embedded systems design concepts and low-power design principles.Test engineering experience, including authoring verification proceduresprotocols.Knowledge of Zigbee and BLE wireless protocols is preferred.Familiarity with medical software documentation (e.g., IEC 62304) is preferred.Knowledge of IPC standards (610 & 620) is preferred.Experience with PCBA schematic capture using Altium is preferred.Experience with PCBA layout; familiarity with Altium is preferred.Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, YAML) is a plus.Understanding of GUI design and user interface (UI) principles is a plus.Benefits:401(k)Dental InsuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time off
