We specialize in providing risk management and insurance solutions for both business and personal needs, with a focus on contractors, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and real estate industries.Role DescriptionThis job is open to an individual with 3+ years insurance experience. This is a full-time on-site role(hybrid option based on experience) for a Commercial account manager at Oaklane Insurance Agency. The Commercial Account manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks required to manage a commercial book of business that is assigned to them. Along with working on servicing a existing book they will work on new business opportunities as assigned by management. Book makeup will depend on the candidates past experience.Responsibilities:Functions as the day-to-day customer contact and focuses their time on trouble shooting issues and helping the client make well-informed decisions that position the client for success.Keep proper documentation in agency management systemWork with the producer and other team member on the new business and renewal strategyCarryout renewal bind processes for new and renewal businessReview quotes for accuracy against supporting documentsDiscuss coverageprice with underwriter as neededReview any customer questions as they come upReview billing questions from customersPut together new business and renewal presentation documents along with producerRequirements:3+ years of commercial Insurance experienceAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and writtenStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProperty & Casualty license (or ability to acquire within 90 days)About Oaklane:A Family owned and operated Independent Insurance Agency focused on middle market commercial business.
