Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 yearProject Location: Topeka, KSJob Type: Full-TimePROJECT MANAGER - CM (MULTIPLE POSITIONS) - MAJOR HEALTHCARE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMSWe are seeking motivated Project ManagersConstruction Managers (PMCM) with a degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering to join our team on a VA Construction Program, in Topeka, KS. Candidates will report to a Sr. Project Manager as well as collaborate and assist VA client staff to provide data, and generate reports, as a representative for the client on major healthcare construction projects.Available Positions:1 CM-Electrical Engineer1 CM-Mechanical EngineerResponsibilities:The Project Manager will provide leadership and mentorship and provide project andor construction management of a single major program or project or multiple projects. Provides decisive direction in regard to business, technical, and personnel management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities. The Project Manager will be required to learn, teach, and implement industry, client, and internal company best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the healthcare environment. The Project Manager will be leading a team(s) of professionals and experience as an advisorliaison with the client (user groups, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives). The project will require off hours work during construction to minimize impact on medical center operations. The CM services will be used to support traditional Design-Bid-Build and DesignBuild contracts. A summary of the major tasks is below:Provides project andor construction management of a single major program or project or multiple projects.Provides decisive direction in regard to business, technical, and personnel management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities.Is responsible for the overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost, and schedule. Maintains daily progress reports and inspection reports.Leads the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.Required Qualifications:Licensing: PEEducation: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited school of higher education.Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in the management of both design and construction phases of a project.Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and masterRequirements of local state and federal jurisdictions concerning the Project.Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead to the project's success.Leadership: Must possess the ability to collaborate and integrate with other professionalsPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineering LicenseExperience with Healthcare and Federal projects.CCM or PMP certificationsBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision - 99% of the health premium base plan for individuals paid by the company and 50% base plan for family members paid by the company.401K with up to 4% company matchPaid Time OffAnnual bonus based upon individual and company performance.ABOUT SIRISSIRIS is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that provides design and construction management project consulting.
