Back End Developer

We are a Global software company building industry-leading, secure software platforms for the investment management industry. We are scaling our Back-end Engineering team, and we're looking for talented Software Engineers with at least 3 years of professional experience using Python, microservices, REST APIs, and AWS.Responsibilities: Build, support, and enhance our backend systems that support our flagship software platform.Build out and maintain Python-based microservicesBuild out and maintain APIsActively participate in stand-up meetings and peer code reviewsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.2+ years of development experience with Python (plus Flask or Fast API).2+ years working with relational databases (ex. MongoDB).Exposure to Scala, Node, andor Ruby is preferred.Experience with Pandas or NumPy is preferred.Fintech work experience is preferred.LinuxUnix experience as well as using AWS is preferred.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.Solid problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills.Collaborative approach to software development.
