Eventually, to eliminate gender bias entirely from all forms of content.LocationNew York City (hybrid)Position SummarySeeHer is seeking a high-performing sales leader to join as a VP Account Director, SeeHer Membership, responsible for driving new membership sales"”primarily from brands"”and strengthening engagement with existing members. This is a sales-first role, focused on securing new corporate members, expanding SeeHer's reach, and increasing overall membership revenue.The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales and business development, with experience selling to senior-level brand marketers and decision-makers. SeeHer operates on a membership-based model, making both new member acquisition and retention critical to its success.The VP, Account Director will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing brand memberships, as well as retaining and deepening relationships with current members to maximize their engagement with SeeHer. Major ResponsibilitiesNew Membership SalesOwn the sales process from prospecting to closing, with a focus on selling memberships to brands.Proactively identify and pursue new brand membership opportunities through industry research, networking, LinkedIn, events, and direct outreach.Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, targeting marketing, media, and advertising leaders within major brands.Develop compelling sales pitches that align SeeHer's mission with brand objectives, demonstrating the value of membership.Work closely with SeeHer leadership to drive revenue growth and meetexceed membership sales goals.Member Engagement and RetentionEnsure existing members fully utilize SeeHer's benefits to drive engagement and retention.Strengthen relationships with senior brand marketers and decision-makers, acting as a strategic advisor to maximize their participation.Implement proactive engagement strategies to keep members actively involved in SeeHer initiatives.Strategic Leadership & CollaborationDeeply understand the marketing and media ecosystem, particularly how brands connect with all consumer segments through the lens of representation and portrayal of characters.Effectively communicate SeeHer's impact and ROI to marketing executives.Collaborate across SeeHer departments to support member programming and industry partnerships.Stay informed on the ANA Marketing Growth Agenda to align membership efforts with industry trends.Professional Experience and QualificationsBachelor's degree and 10+ years of proven sales experience in membership, sponsorships, advertising, or marketing services - selling to brands is a must.Strong network and established relationships with brand marketers. Ability to identify the budget holder and the key decision maker within an organization.Excellent sales, strategic service and presentation skills in all communications is required.Passion for SeeHer's mission and a strong advocate for women and gender equality. Entrepreneurial spirit and a results-driven mindset with a track record or meeting or exceeding sales targets.Deep understanding of the advertising, marketing and media landscape with experience selling to those sectors. Salary and Total Rewards Package:Starting pay range: $140,000 to $150,000, based on relevant experience and prehensive health and wellness benefits, 401k with company match, hybrid workweek and flexible scheduling, generous paid time off program, casual dress code, incentives, and rewards.
