Job Title: Billing & Collections Account ManagerLocation: Hybrid 2-3x per week in NYC, Boston, Austin, Palo Alto, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Wilmington, or Washington D.C.Salary: $110-115K base + annual bonus + benefits + 401(k)Must-Haves:4+ years of experience in high volumedollar, automated, law firm finance role, including BOTH billing AND collectionsKnowledge and understanding of financial policies and procedures and use of both accounting and collections software systemsExperience with Aderant or other legal finance software required (3E acceptable), as well as Microsoft ExcelWordAbility to perform complex financial analysis and must be client-service focusedAbility to interact with all levels of personnel and interact and function as part of a teamAbility to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple competing priorities simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving abilities as well as analytical and negotiations skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPlusses:Bachelor's degreeExperience with Aderant BillBlastJob Description:A large law firm is currently looking for experienced Account Managers to join the Finance team. This position will be responsible for managing client account portfolios and will interface extensively with firm clients, partners and finance management. Responsibilities include the below:Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as their primary point of contact for billing and finance-related mattersManage the inventory of a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring compliance with the financial policies of the firm and processes of the finance departmentUnderstand billing structures, commercial terms, fee arrangements, client requirements, and law firm economics to advise and support assigned partnersOversee accurate and timely billing, track receivables, and proactively resolve any issues related to prompt paymentUse dashboards and reporting tools to analyze client inventory and financial performance, and to identify trends and develop recommendations to improve outcomesAnticipate and address client concerns or disputes, demonstrating resourcefulness and professionalism in resolving challengesExhibit excellent written and verbal communication to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and professional mannerDemonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction and proactive approach to enhancing client experienceHandle completing priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure
