POSITION TITLE: Regional Tournament DirectorREPORTS TO: Director of OperationsSALARY: Commensurate with experience (includes bonus structure package)Position Purpose:The Regional Tournament Director will be responsible for managing tournament operations in all new markets from planning to scheduling to on-site execution.This individual will direct all aspects of tournament operations including recruitment, scheduling, on-site management, and customer service. This role requires travel and will assist the company with new growth business initiatives in emerging markets.Responsibilities:· Event Planningo Coordinate tournament (prepost event) communications - phone, email, etc.o Recruit clubs & teams from across the country to attend eventso Assist with facility (sports complex) arrangementso Manage all event scheduling (GotSport & other schedulingregistration platforms)o Oversee Tournament Management Docs (Project Management)· On-Site Managemento Hire and train on-site staffo Interface with vendorssub-contractors in a professional manner (Sponsors, Ref Coordinators, AT Staff, FacilitiesComplex Staff)o Act as primary contact for all tournament coaches and team managers and uphold competition standardso Reconcile "post gameday" information (game scores, no-showsforfeits)· Budget Managemento Prepare and evaluate event budget ensuring financial objectives are meto Provide reports on consistent basis to management regarding registration payments and expenses· Team Leadershipo Ability to positively interact with all internal and external stakeholders while upholding company valueso Recognize core competencies of U90C and make decisions that reflect those competencies: Integrity | Accountability | Pride |Entrepreneurship | Energy | Respecto Assist and support Dallas tournaments, leagues, and events as neededQualificationsExpectations:· Minimum 2-4 years of experience in event management, ideally background in soccer· Ability to work nights and weekends (expected travel 40% of role)· Prior work experience in youth soccer (club, event, coach) is preferred· Must have ability to organize and execute multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously· Must be organized and possess excellent verbal, phone and written communicationproblem-solving skills· Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeGoogle Suite & scheduling experience in GotSport andor other platforms is requiredAll interested applicants should email a resume with a letter of interest to:Chris Zembik -
