Summary ObjectiveWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to be a leader in our wholesale swimwear team. This role is responsible for the full sales lifecycle of assigned accounts, overseeing strategy, customer acquisition, and brand growth.The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the wholesale swimwear industry, a strong network of retail buyers, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, expanding our partnerships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure brand success. Additionally, this role requires clear and effective communication with senior management, providing insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:The VP of Sales will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and the relationship, renewals, and expansion of existing customers.Direct and coordinate all aspects of the sales plan by assigned account to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the brandBuild and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needsResponsible for ensuring maximum sales volume by developing product strategies and new product ideasconcepts to fill white space within the department store channel.Utilize retail selling and sell-through information to identify opportunities, risks, and actions with a focus on account and internal profitability.Monthly recaps to identify top-performing styles and opportunitiesUnderstand industry-specific trends and landscapesRetrieve and act on customer feedback for innovation and improvementResponsible for submitting seasonal projection buys to support and grow the footprint. Manage seasonal budgets to minimize excess inventory riskTravel is required to facilitate Key Accounts, Conferences, and Product Launch meetings.Identify and participate in industry-specific trade shows. Qualifications and Competencies:Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical business acumen for the apparel industry. Strong knowledge of retail math. Ability to run analytical reports for business analysis (open to buy, gross margin, markdown).Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.Exceptional presentation skills to senior-level executives and large groups. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree; business degree preferred.Experience working with major accounts such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman, and specialty doors is preferred. Must have experience managing business of at least 2-4 million in revenueMinimum of 10 years in wholesale Swimwear or Intimates, sportswear, or outwear is a plus
