Job Title: Technical Training SpecialistLocation: Everett, WA 98204Area Code: 425Pay Rate: $50.00-60.00hourShift: 1stTravel: Up to 25%Employment Type: Full Time, Direct#TrainingAndDevelopment #ManufacturingJobs #EngineeringTrainingJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced a skilled Technical Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Computer-Based Training (CBT) programs for a manufacturing, engineering and technical workforce. This role requires 7-10 years of experience in training and development, with a strong background in manufacturing, engineering, and technical systems. The ideal candidate is an engaging instructor who can adapt to different learning styles while maintaining structured, interactive training sessions.This is a critical position that ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to enhance operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:* Develop & Deliver Training: Create and facilitate ILT and CBT programs for technical and non-technical employees, focusing on avionics, electrical systems, aircraft maintenance, and manufacturing processes.* Customize Training Materials: Adapt lesson plans, manuals, and job aids to ensure engagement and clarity for diverse learning styles.* Classroom & Hands-On Instruction: Lead structured, interactive sessions that combine practical exercises with theoretical concepts to enhance knowledge retention.* Assess Training Effectiveness: Implement quizzes, surveys, and performance evaluations to measure learning outcomes and adjust content as needed.* Support Continuous Learning: Provide post-training support and troubleshooting for trainees, reinforcing knowledge application in real-world scenarios.* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Ensure training content remains current, accurate, and aligned with industry best practices.* Maintain Training Records: Track progress and compliance through a Learning Management System (LMS).* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify training processes, improve engagement, and optimize training programs for maximum impact.Required Qualifications:* 7-10 years of experience in instructor-led training in a manufacturing, aerospace, or technical environment.* Proven ability to engage diverse learning styles and lead dynamic, interactive training sessions.* Strong communication and classroom management skills.* Experience developing and delivering training for technical and operational teams.* U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.Preferred Qualifications:* Manufacturing Engineering background or experience training engineering teams.* Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, education, business, or similar.* Experience in certification-based training programs.* Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (IP Simplification, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).* Previous experience working in technical training for manufacturing operations.Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to lead training initiatives that directly impact workforce development, efficiency, and operational success.
