PrideNow is seeking experienced Maintenance Electronic Technicians to join our client's team in Trenton, NJ. This is a Direct-Hire position with benefits!This role involves performing routine and advanced maintenance, including PLC work, and providing direction to Maintenance Mechanics. Candidates must possess extensive experience in industrial electrical, electronics, computer systems, and PLC maintenance, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.Salary: $29.25HourSchedule:1st shift - 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Monday - Friday2nd shift - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Monday - Friday3rd shift - 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Sunday - Thursday4th shift - 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Friday - Saturday - SundayKey Responsibilities:Perform electrical repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine output.Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley PLC 5000, PanelView, and SLC 500 equipment.Utilize Link press control equipment and Microsoft Windows applications.Read, evaluate, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and system documentation.Troubleshoot and repair motor control centers, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.Use electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes) to diagnose issues.Maintain and interface with factory automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and drives.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Train and support line mechanics and apprentices as needed.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial electrical, electronics, and PLC maintenance.Skills:Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics and blueprints.Knowledge of 240V and 480V three-phase systems.Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Experience with power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment.Strong math skills, including measurement and calculations.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.EducationCertifications:Demonstrated competency in electrical controls, PLC programming, and troubleshooting.
