Interim VP of Sales (Contract)Remote - Preferred Locations: Pittsburgh, PA | Cincinnati, OH | Charleston, SCUSA and Canada Travel RequiredJK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a global leader in the specialty pigments industry to identify an Interim VP of Sales to join its team! The VP of Sales will lead and develop their sales team while driving revenue growth across the U.S. and Canada. This contract role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a strong background in technical sales, team coaching, and financial acumen.If you are a visionary sales leader with experience in technical sales and business expansion, we'd love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesOversee sales operations, ensuring pipeline management, client retention, and new business development in the U.S. and Canada.Coach, mentor, and elevate a high-performing sales team, fostering professional growth and accountability.Analyze financial statements, provide profitability insights, and contribute to strategic planning.Identify opportunities for expanding market share, prospect new clients, and develop creative solutions for revenue growth.Present sales reports, growth strategies, and performance insights to executive leadership and the Board.Engage with clients and teams across North America, requiring frequent travel to key locations.Leverage expertise in pigments, specialty chemicals, or adjacent technical industries to drive strategic initiatives.RequirementsIndustry Expertise - Experience in pigments, coatings, chemicals, or a highly technical sales environment. Ideally 10+ years' experience.Leadership & Coaching - Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling sales teams. Ideally 5+ years' experience. Financially Savvy - Deep understanding of P&L management, forecasting, and sales metrics.Strategic & Hands-On - Able to both maintain strong existing client relationships and drive new business.Creative Problem-Solver - Adaptive thinker who develops innovative sales strategies to overcome market challenges.Strong Communicator - Comfortable presenting to executives, stakeholders, and board members.Remote Flexibility - Must be open to travel and ideally based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cincinnati, OH, or Charleston, SC.Salary RangeCompetitive, based on experienceJK Executive Strategies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
