Title: Immigration Coordinator (Mandarin Bilingual)Department: Human ResourcesLocation: Piscataway, NJ (Hybrid)Pay: Can go up to $26HRJob Overview:The Junior Coordinator for Immigration Visa Applications will assist in managing and facilitating the visa and immigration process for employees and candidates. This role involves liaising with internal departments and external agencies to ensure timely and compliant visa submissions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting employees with visa-related inquiries. The Junior Coordinator will assist in ensuring the company's immigration procedures align with legal and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Visa Application Support: Assist with the preparation, submission, and follow-up of various visa types (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.) and immigration-related paperwork for employees and potential hires.Documentation Management: Organize and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of immigration documents, employee statuses, and related munication: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding visa inquiries, providing guidance and updates on the progress of their pliance & Regulations: Ensure all visa and immigration processes comply with local, federal, and international immigration laws and regulations.Coordination: Collaborate with the HR and legal teams, as well as external immigration consultants or attorneys, to ensure smooth processing of applications.Tracking & Reporting: Track deadlines and key dates related to visas, permits, and other immigration matters. Generate reports on the status of applications and renewals.Problem-Solving: Address any issues or challenges related to visa applications or delays and propose solutions.Training Support: Help create and distribute educational materials or training for employees about visa processes, timelines, and related policies.Data Entry: Maintain accurate databases with employee immigration status, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in related fieldExperience: 1-2 years of experience in immigration coordination or administrative support, preferably in a corporate environment.Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. immigration laws and visa processes (or relevant country's laws depending on the location). Familiarity with visa systems, forms, and legal procedures is a plus.Skills:Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in mandarin.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and immigration management software (if applicable).Working Conditions:Full-time position with the possibility of overtime during peak immigration seasons.Primarily office-based, with some remote work flexibility. 4 days in the office.
