Investment Banking Analyst/Associate - Life Sciences

Our client, a boutique investment bank in the Bay Area, is looking to bring on an experienced investment banking analyst or associate to their team. They specialize in the life sciences place and while they are a smaller team, have a great track record of closing several deals every year. This is a great opportunity for someone to have hands-on experience that spans the entire deal process and get closed deals under their belt.Key Responsibilities:Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support transaction executionPrepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materialsPerform industry and company research to identify potential opportunitiesAssist in the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitionsCollaborate with team members to develop strategic recommendations for clientsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developmentsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field1-2 years of experience in investment banking or corporate developmentStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointHigh level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
