Job Title: DDCPLC Data Center TechnicianLocation: Manassas, VAJob Type: Full-timeJob OverviewWe seek a highly skilled DDCPLC Data Center Technician to join our team in Manassas, VA. This position is responsible for the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Direct Digital Controls (DDC), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Building Automation Systems (BAS) within critical data center environments. The ideal candidate will possess experience working with control systems to optimize HVAC, energy management, and building performance.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, program, and service DDC, PLC, and BAS control systems in data centers and mission-critical facilities.Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on control panels, sensors, actuators, and communication networks.Work with HVAC, electrical, and energy management systems to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.Program and configure controllers from Tridium, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, or Schneider Electric.Conduct system testing, calibration, and commissioning to validate proper operation.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project goals and deadlines.Qualifications3+ years of experience in DDC, PLC, and BAS system installation, programming, and troubleshooting.Strong understanding of HVAC control systems, electrical principles, and networking.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams.Proficiency in configuring and programming Tridium Niagara AXN4, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Rockwell Automation, or Schneider Electric controllers.Hands-on experience with BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks communication protocols.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally as needed.Preferred QualificationsCertifications in Niagara AXN4, Siemens, Honeywell, Rockwell Automation, or Johnson Controls.Experience working in data centers, critical facilities, or high-tech environments.Technical training or degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or Industrial Automation.Benefits & CompensationCompetitive salary based on prehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance).401(k) with company match.Paid time off and pany vehicle or mileage reimbursement (if applicable).Professional training and career development opportunities.Equal Employment OpportunityAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
