Reliability Analyses:o Perform in-depth reliability analyses on mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical devices.o Conduct analyses such as Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removals (MTBUR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Failure Mode, Effects, and Critical Analysis (FMECA).o Gather and analyze data from customer paperwork, shop finding reports, and historical data to establish baseline reliability metrics.o Compile and present findings in the format outlined per contracts to stakeholders.o Complete ad hoc requests to support additional investigations by business or engineering teams.2. Performance Monitoring:o Monitor parts performance on a monthly basis for multiple engine platforms.o Deliver 20 contractual reports to internal and external customers during the period of performance.3. Program Development:o Design and implement comprehensive reliability programs to evaluate and enhance the reliability of aerospace systems and components.o Develop and maintain reliability databases and document results of reliability studies.o Identify potential failure modes and develop preventative measures.o Collaborate with design engineers to incorporate reliability requirements into product designs.4. Risk Management:o Conduct thorough risk assessments and prepare detailed risk management plans.o Investigate reliability-related incidents and determine root causes.o Perform life cycle cost analyses and recommend design or process changes to reduce costs.5. Collaboration and Communication:o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to improve product reliability.o Present reliability findings to management and customers in a clear and concise manner.o Stay current with the latest reliability tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
