Enjoy working for a business that promotes within and offers full product manufacturing training in their niche world.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform repair and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to a high standardAssemble units delivered in a modular format, requiring mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration knowledgeWork closely with customers, maintaining a professional image and ensuring satisfactionSubmit paperwork, site reports, expenses, and timesheets promptlyReport daily activity to the Service Team Leader to ensure availability and productivityCollaborate with Service Support Engineers to ensure timely completion of worksFollow health and safety policies both on-site and at customer locationsMaintain excellent attendance and work outside normal office hours, including weekends, as neededRequired Education & QualificationsTwo-year technical degree in HVAC or related field preferred (or substantial relevant experience)EPA Type II Certification required (Universal EPA preferred)Applicable HVAC licence preferredExperience in service, maintenance, and repair of chillers and chiller systemsAbility to diagnose, service, and repair Close Controls systemsExperience in data centrebusiness-critical environmentsStrong electrical experience, with ability to read detailed electrical schematicsProficient in AC refrigeration, understanding superheats, sub-cooling, pressures, and temperaturesFamiliarity with Carel controls navigation
