Senior System Engineer / Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer (Electronics)Location: Roswell, GA or Montgomery, AL (Hybrid, three days a week) Job Description:The Sr. Systems Engineer (Electronics) is a key role responsible for architecture development and deployment in the product line. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of Rheem's Water Heating and Air Conditioning solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to define and develop technologies used in Rheem's innovative control solutions. This role has a profound impact on Rheem's product development and innovation. Responsibilities:Lead the development and extension of system architecture and design for electronic controller applications.Drive technological advancements and ensure robust solutions.Collaborate with engineers from other teams to test products, ensuring cross-functional integration.Work closely with Product Managers to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Write requirements for protocols and other systemproduct specifications.Oversee the implementation of product features, such as Bluetooth integration in water heating products.Validate products to ensure they meet the defined requirements and standards. Must Haves:Experience working in a Systems Engineering or Technical Project Management type of role with experience in the following: Working with both hardware and software teams Requirements Management Hands on testing experience Hardware development experience Product Development experience BA degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Strong communicationpresenting skills Experience leading programs andor products Plusses:Requirement traceability tools UL or agency certification background - consumer electronics
