You will play a key role in overseeing engineering design specifications and other engineering processes.Qualifications & Requirements:Must know how to apply Engineering knowledge and related codes and standards in analyzing and developing effective assembly systems, generating specifications, and delivering technical presentations to clientsMust have 1-3 years of manufacturing engineering experienceMust possess strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Should have In-depth knowledge of highly technical engineering principles and processes in the milaero industryShould have a knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing Our core values - Accountability, Collaboration, and Empowerment (ACE) - are the foundation of how we operate and drive success. Are You Our Next ACE?Direct responsibility for the Assembly Department including overseeing engineering process activities and personnel labor trainingPrepare and oversee the preparation of engineering designs, mechanical data sheets, code calculations and design specificationsDefine department's engineering activity layout and design of workflow and tooling requirementsSupervise technical interfaces with the customer and production on all Engineering related issues and be responsible for processing waiver requests resulting from MRB activity or other engineering related issuesInterface with the design and sales on all quotes, process quotes in the allotted time frame agreed to with the customer and submit quote and solicit feedback from the customerConduct periodic internal status meetings for all contracts, and updates the customer on any problems that cause a schedule impact along with a recovery plan to correct the problemCreate work and process instructions, perform assembly time studies, manage router times and manage assembly yield dataLead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects Systems You'll Use:Google Enterprise BambooHRPaycom & ADPGlobalShopUconnect Pay Transparency: Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $70,000 per year - $85,000 per year, plus incentive compensation.
