Position Summary - ESI's Project Managers are the stewards of individual projects and bear the ultimate responsibility for their success or failure. They are the leaders of their team and provide guidance, direction, and follow up to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications and quality standards. They are firm believers that success is attained together and is never a solo achievement. They are visionaries who can visualize success, create a plan to achieve it, and carry out that plan. They are the stewards of client's financial investment and operate with transparency and ethics. They are the public face and agents of ESI, and represent it with integrity and professionalism. Through their personal experience, commitment to integrity, and service-oriented mindset, they're able to create, strengthen, and maintain relationships with clients, trades, and within the ESI family.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRepresent ESI as an ambassador to clientele, design teams, city officials, and subcontractors.Manage all aspects of a construction project, including bidding, constructionoperations, project close-out, and warranty.Establish, monitor, and thoroughly understand project finances.Generate, track, and maintain complex construction schedules.Search out, contract with, negotiate with, and effectively manage a diverse group of subcontractors.Resolve prime contract and subcontract disputes.Manage project documentation, including RFI's, submittals, plan changes (ASI's, CCD's, etc.).Regularly visit jobsites to meet with clients and verify adherence to project documents and quality standards.Coordinate with other support departments to identify and resolve project issues.Regularly report project status to superiors and clients.Effectively train and develop other team members.Manage client relationships and programs.Oversee and manage multiple subordinate project managers.Qualifications Demonstrates leadership, integrity, perseverance, reliability, respect, self-discipline, dedication, and dependability.Exhibits personal motivation, initiative, and potential for growth.Extensive knowledge of building construction, materials, means and methods, scheduling, project accounting and cost control procedures, general contract structure, general conditions, subcontract documents, construction drawings and petence in representing ESI as an ambassador to clientele, design teams, city officials, and subcontractors.Strong management and interpersonal skills.Exhibits high emotional intelligence.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to comprehend, simplify, and convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.Skilled at problem solving; resilient and determined to find or create solutions.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Can effectively search, navigate, and interpret contract documents.
