The Outside Sales Representative - Wholesale Fuel Distribution is responsible for driving fuel sales growth by identifying, developing, and managing wholesale fuel accounts. This role involves building strong relationships with fuel distributors, commercial clients, fleet operators, and industrial fuel consumers. The representative will work closely with supply chain, logistics, and pricing teams to provide tailored fuel solutions that maximize efficiency and cost savings for clients. This position requires deep industry knowledge, strong sales acumen, and the ability to negotiate large-volume fuel contracts.We are passionate about health and fueling our bodies with the best ingredients. Employees agree!Great trainingOpportunities to grow and gain new skills and knowledge within the companyAccommodating and flexibility to needs of the employees'Great pay and incentivesAcknowledge and recognize employees for their accomplishments and contributions to the company.We worked with local farmers, vendors, and a culinary professional to create a delicious, handcrafted menu and expanded our offerings.We support the communities we are a part of and make a difference in the world around us.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:Identify and target potential customers, including fuel resellers, fleet operators, construction firms, government agencies, and other bulk fuel consumers.Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share and drive revenue growth.Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and industry networking to generate new business opportunities.Maintain a thorough understanding of fuel market trends, pricing structures, and competitors' offerings.Work with fuel supply teams to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply for customers.Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Client Relationship Management:Build and nurture long-term relationships with wholesale fuel buyers, procurement teams, and business owners.Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert recommendations on fuel purchasing strategies, supply chain logistics, and risk management.Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.Provide ongoing account management and support, including volume forecasting, pricing updates, and contract renewals.Contract Negotiation & Pricing Strategy:Develop and negotiate bulk fuel supply agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.Monitor market fluctuations and advise clients on optimal purchasing strategies to mitigate fuel price volatility.Work closely with pricing analysts to structure competitive deals that align with customer needs and profitability goals.Market Analysis & Industry Engagement:Stay updated on industry regulations, fuel taxes, supply chain dynamics, and environmental policies affecting wholesale fuel distribution.Attend industry trade shows, energy conferences, and networking events to generate leads and stay competitive.Identify emerging trends in alternative fuels, sustainability initiatives, and new distribution channels.Operational Coordination:Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient fuel deliveries.Monitor supply chain performance and proactively address potential disruptions.Ensure customers receive accurate invoices, pricing updates, and fuel reports.Reporting & Administration:Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and customer database using CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.Provide feedback on market conditions and customer needs to help refine company strategies.Qualifications & Requirements:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Energy Management, or a related field (preferred).3+ years of sales experience in wholesale fuel distribution, petroleum marketing, or energy sales.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B fuel sales environment.Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of fuel supply chains, bulk purchasing, contract negotiation, and risk management.Excellent sales, networking, and relationship-building skills.Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Other Requirements:Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.Willingness to visit customer sites, including fuel terminals, fleet yards, and industrial facilities.Ability to pass industry safety and compliance pensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary plus commissionbonuses based on performance starting at $114,pany-provided vehicle or travel reimbursement.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and company holidays.Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
