Electrical Engineer - Power Generation 📍 Location: Oswego, NY (Hybrid - Onsite Tues-Thurs, Remote Mon & Fri)💰 Salary: $100,000 - $141,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + 401K + Full Benefits📦 Relocation Assistance Available🔹 About the Role:We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to join a leading nuclear power generation team in Oswego, NY. This hybrid role (remote Mon & Fri, onsite Tues-Thurs) will focus on power systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades to keep critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently.🔹 What You'll Do:✔ Analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power systems, transformers, substations, and high-voltage equipment✔ Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving equipment or system problems✔ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols in a highly regulated environment✔ Optimize electrical infrastructure, improve system reliability, and recommend equipment upgrades✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support long-term engineering projects🔹 What We're Looking For:✔ 2+ years of experience in power generation, nuclear, oil & gas, heavy industrial, utilities, or related fields✔ Background in high-voltage power systems, electrical maintenance, and power distribution✔ Experience working with industry codes (NEC, IEEE, NRC, etc.)✔ Ability to be on-call for emergencies (must live within 1.5 hours of Oswego, NY or be open to relocation)✔ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)💡 Bonus Points For:✔ Experience in nuclear power plants or DOE-regulated environments✔ Knowledge of automation, control systems, or SCADA🔹 Why Join Us?🌎 Work with a company leading the transition to clean, carbon-free energy💰 Competitive salary + bonus + 401K matching + stock purchase plan📦 Relocation assistance available🏡 Hybrid work schedule (only 3 days onsite!)
