Job Description:Cain Injury Law is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury litigation and pre-litigation processes. You will play a key role in supporting the attorney by managing case files, conducting client communication, and ensuring the efficient handling of cases from intake through settlement or trial.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in the preparation and management of personal injury cases, including case intake, discovery, and settlement negotiations.Gather, review, and organize medical records, bills, accident reports, and other case-related documentation.Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date in the case management municate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel. Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, medical exams, and court appearances.Conduct legal research and summarize case law or statutes as needed. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of documents to meet court and case deadlines.Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and organizing case evidence.Qualifications: Education: Paralegal certificate or degree in legal studies (preferred).Experience: 5 years of experience in a personal injury firm or civil litigation role.Skills: Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including pre-litigation and litigation procedures. Proficiency in case management software (e.g., Clio, Needles, or similar), Microsoft Office, and legal research tools. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients in sensitive situations. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with trial preparation and trial support.
