Service Technician

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Shop Service Technician III with strong expertise in diesel technology and engine systems. This role is ideal for experienced technicians who excel in troubleshooting, installations, and repairs within a shop environment. As a Technician III, you will work on a variety of machinery and equipment, providing exceptional service and completing high-quality repairs.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs on diesel engines and construction equipment.Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues within the shop.Assemble new engine packages and pre-assemble fitted components in the production dependently complete assignments with minimal supervision.Deliver high-quality workmanship and maintain professionalism in all interactions.Requirements:5+ years of experience as a shop technician or diesel technician is required.Must be fully capable of independently completing assignments.Expertise in diesel technology and engine systems is essential.Certifications in Cummins, CAT, or similar are strongly preferred.Experience with multiple OEMs is highly desirable.Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with excellent problem-solving skills.Personable, ethical, and reliable with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and work collaboratively with team members.Why Join Us?Competitive hourly compensation: $33.80 - $42.36, based on experience.Work in a state-of-the-art shop environment with industry-leading equipment.Opportunities for skill development and career growth within a supportive team.
