Job descriptionFriedman's Home Improvement is looking for a KeyholderCoordinator, Yard, for our Ukiah location. This leader is a key-carrying manager on duty who supervises storeyard operations and leads Team Members in an environment that is customer-focused and grand opening-ready. No previous hardware store knowledge is needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide management-level support to all customers and Team Members in the yardOwn the daily pulse, flow, and activities of the business channeldepartment and all Team Members within itDrive customer service and Team Member engagement throughout the storeConnection with Team Members is ever-present with a daily check in process and constant teaching, feedback, and coaching on TM performance as it relates to process, procedures, and valuesSet the retail pace and expectations for the Department through managing Department Heads and Team Members, making sure they have the knowledge and tools to be successful day-to-day as a Values based leaderManager on Duty to include key carrier responsible for opening and closing building, all aspects of the facility and activities on-site during shift. Safety, security, emergencies. Alarm and fire codesMentor, coach and train Department Heads and Team Members with product knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills to develop and strengthen the teamAssign duties and follow up with TMs to ensure timely completeness and accuracyDetermine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow for departmental Team MembersEducation andExperience:Advanced education or training from college or university, with 4+ years in a retail environment or equivalent combination of education andor experienceMinimum mid-level management background with exceptional supervisory skillsKnowledge Skill and Abilities:Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Microsoft D365 experience is preferredAbility to lead, develop and grow a teamDevelop and maintain strong cross-functional relationshipsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to follow through issues to resolutionBenefits:401(k) matchingMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountPaid time offParental leaveTuition reimbursementPay:$23.55 - $24.52 per hourLocationHours: This is a non-exempt position located at the Friedman's Home Improvement retail store in Ukiah, 1255 Airport Park Blvd., Ukiah, CA. Hours are to meet the needs of the retail business and typically vary from 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.
