Job descriptionService Electric Company is seeking Data Entry Clerk to support our Payroll Department in the entry of time and processing of payroll.Position FunctionsData Entry and import of dataResearch, and escalate, as needed, to support the payroll clerk and the team in resolving timesheet problemsAssist in verifying payroll output against reportsProvide excellent customer service while handling inbound calls or via emailReport potential issuesOther tasks as assignedEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent experience.1+ years of data entry experiencePayroll experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent attention to detail.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent time management with proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Strong skills in Windows-based office software and the aptitude to learn new computer systems.NOTE: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
