Sales Associate

We are a family owned and operated manufacturing and general contracting company in Grand Junction, CO. We are looking for a Sales Professional who is a self starter and has the ability to work independently and with a small team of people. The Sales Associate will work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions; also promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. A successful Sales Associate stays up to date with our product features and maintains our store's visual appearance to high standards. Ultimately, the duties of the Sales Associate are to achieve excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceAssess customer's needs and provide assistance and information on product featuresWelcome customers to the store and answer their questionsActively seek out customers in store and yardRemain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available optionsReceive and ship inventory, and Manage inventoryPlace and fulfill ordersTeam up with co-workers to ensure proper customer serviceBuild productive trust relationships with customersComply with inventory control proceduresWrite up sales orders contracts and maintain Purchase Order listQualificationsKnowledge of the construction world is REQUIREDOn the job construction experience is a HUGE PLUS21 years of age or olderBasic understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesProficiency in EnglishStrong computer skills and Math aptitudeWorking knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirementsA valid Driver's License and ability to meet our driving record requirementsThe ability to demonstrate Company Values of Innovation, Teamwork, Ambition and IntegrityFamiliarity with inventory proceduresSolid communication and interpersonal skillsA friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focusAbility to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely mannerAbility to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50 lbs and may weigh up to 75 lbsPossess industry experience and knowledge in the local marketBenefits401(k) matchingPaid time off
