Application Engineer

Trusted by industry leaders in automotive, appliance, building materials, and logistics, we deliver innovative, high-performance solutions that drive business success for our customers.We are currently seeking an Application Engineer to join our team!Key Responsibilities:Analyze customer specifications and project requirements to develop detailed cost estimates for conveyor and material handling systems.Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of proposed designs.Research and evaluate materials, components, labor, and manufacturing costs, to determine pricing strategies.Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times for materials and components.Prepare cost breakdowns and pricing proposals for customer quotations.Assist in optimizing designs for cost-effectiveness while meeting performance and quality requirements.Support customer inquiries and modifications throughout the quoting and proposal process.Maintain a database of historical quotes and pricing information to improve future estimates.Qualifications:Prefer 2+ years of experience in estimating, quoting, or application engineering within material handling, automation, or industrial equipment industries.Strong understanding of conveyors, lifts, pallet handling, and other material handling systems.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor) is a plus.Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.If you're passionate about engineering and enjoy solving complex challenges in material handling, we'd love to hear from you!
