With a strong presence across the United States, they serve various sectors including healthcare and education.About the Role:This position is responsible for conducting tests, inspections, and startups of mechanical systems, control systems and other systems. Essential Functions:Obtains equipment and startup documentation for the mechanical and control work.Develops and administers functional tests, mechanical inspections and quality checks for both basic and complex mechanical systems, control systems and other relevant systems. Partners with the service department and turns over project for service and warranty. Verifies results of tests reports; assists with trouble-shooting of commissioned equipment as necessary.Partners with LeadManager to coordinate correction of deficiencies found during the commissioning and quality terfaces with clients, contractors and equipment vendors as needed.Serves as a mentor to less-experienced Commissioning and quality SpecialistsQualifications: Ability to work independently and can make decisions and implement changes. You're good at developing and implementing policies.You enjoy being a coach and mentoring; and can help develop a staffBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or related field preferred or applicable experience3+ years' hands-on experience setting up and testing HVAC systems, including complex systemsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to read and interpret more complex construction documents (mechanical drawings, specifications, etc.)Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems requiredStrong working knowledge of HVAC control systems requiredAbility to coordinate projectsStrong ability to effectively prioritizeStrong attention to detailStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite"”Word, Excel and Outlook requiredStrong knowledge of Autodesk applications
