Cannabis Operations Manager

A fast-growing company in the distribution industry is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for managing warehouse personnel, implementing operational strategies, and ensuring efficient day-to-day execution.Key Responsibilities:Oversee recurring business functions, ensuring efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations and meet business objectives.Allocate resources based on operational priorities.Evaluate and refine policies and procedures as municate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.Address operational challenges, resolve issues, and implement contingency plans.Improve productivity through process optimization and testing new methods.Manage employee performance through coaching, mentoring, and evaluations.Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.Lead hiring, performance management, and personnel decisions within the department.Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Qualifications & Skills:Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.OSHA Certification preferred.Forklift Certification preferred.Fluency in Spanish is a plus.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience in the cannabis industry is highly desired Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience required.4 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).Job Requirements:Must be 21 years or older.Availability to work at least 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.Ability to work in multi-temperature environments.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and twist for extended pensation & Benefits:This position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including:Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays).Health, dental, and vision insurance.Employee assistance programs.401(k) with employer match.Life insurance.Employee discounts.This company is an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
