In-House Litigation Paralegal

A growing legal department with a logistics company in Irvine is seeking an in-house litigation paralegal with defense-side litigation experience.This litigation paralegal will be responsible for in-house litigation, for defense-side general liability and employment law casesResponsibilities of Role: o Legal holds - initiating in CasePoint o Subpoenas - responding to them and sending them outo eDiscovery - gatheringcollectingretaining documentso Investigations - asking high level questions, obtaining documents from accidents internal teams· Software: Bright Flag Workspaces and Case Point, plus MS Office Suite.Pay is contingent upon experience with the duties above. Must-Have Requirements: 1. Civil litigation experience on the defense side, familiar with litigation process of a case (intake to trial) and knowing what questions to ask about a case - cannot train on this! 2. Familiarity with property damage, auto accidents, PI, employment law would be great!3. Experience communicating with outside counsel in a professional manner4.
