Our team values integrity, collaboration, and excellence in everything we do.Position Overview:Our Client is seeking an experienced Contract to Hire Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance. This role will manage day-to-day accounting functions, lead a team of accounting professionals, and contribute to financial strategy and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Develop and implement internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company regulations.Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.Utilize accounting software and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of team development and performance management.Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.Experience in payroll processing or financial services is a plus.
