We currently supply engines and engine components to a variety of global customers across a range of uses including defense, firefighting, and transportation. Manufacturing Engineer We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in machining, quality control, and lean manufacturing. This individual will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading the organization toward successful ISO certification. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidate would possess the following skills: Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing:Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. o Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to increase throughput and reduce costs. Machining Operations: Oversee and optimize machining processes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining-related challenges. Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure product consistency and compliance with customer requirements. Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues. ISO Certification Leadership: Lead the organization through the ISO certification process, including gap analysis, policy development, and compliance auditing. Serve as the subject matter expert on ISO standards and ensure ongoing adherence to certification requirements.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to align manufacturing goals with organizational objectives.Provide technical guidance and training to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Project Management:Plan and execute manufacturing engineering projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Monitor project performance metrics and report progress to stakeholders.Candidate Requirements: Education: • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on machining, quality control, and lean manufacturing. • Proven experience leading organizations through ISO certification. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in CADCAM software and machining technologies. • Strong understanding of quality control tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA. • Familiarity with ISO 9001 (or similar) standards and certification processes. Leadership Skills: • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
