As a Project Manager at Argonaut Constructors, you are expected to accomplish project objectives by planning, scheduling, and executing project activities throughout each phase to completion, including coordination of workers, materials, and equipment. You also play a critical role in developing and implementing project strategies, optimizing project processes, and providing leadership and guidance to support the company's overall business objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of assigned project from pre-construction to completion and closeout, including but not limited to:Managing client communications, updates, relationships, and expectations.Coordinating Subcontractors and suppliers.· Communicating project timelines, schedules, and overall expectations to internal teamPlan out work schedules, manage and monitor progress against the projected planTrack project costs from job start to close out, pay applications as well as coordinating job site visits, weekly owner meetingsSubmittal review, RFI's, Subcontracts and Purchase OrdersCollaborate with Argonaut Project Management Team members to identify and solve problemsUpdate monthly the management team on progress and costs to complete budgets (WIP)Responsible for project close-out including final billings, punch-list completion, and post-mortem meetingsPlan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from start to finish.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.Monitor project progress and ensure that work is being performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate and communicate effectively with Argonaut Project Coordinators and external clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures and minimizing project costs. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure safety, and resolve issues or concerns promptly.Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.Lead project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to review project status and discuss issues and resolutions.Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements.Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent delays or setbacks.Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. To perform the job successfully you must meet the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).Solid understanding of contract documents, drawings, and specifications.Ability to analyze problems and make decisions independently and collaboratively.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
