Billing Specialist Location: Marietta, Georgia 30062Duration: 26 weeks, 2 daysShift Details: Monday - Friday (Friday is remote)Compensation: $17-19hourJOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Specialist, Billing, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing carrier freight bills, proactively resolving potential errors and duplicate billing, and facilitating the billing of orders to customers. On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate with internal and external sources to resolve open tasks; maintain quality and service levels when working with clientsEnsure issues are addressed immediately and appropriate parties are informed for proper resolutionMake customer satisfaction the primary "driver" for successful quality processes with internal and external teamsDevelop a working understanding of the internal technologies required for daily functionsCommunicate with various internal company departments to address problems preventing orders from billing to a customerPartner with transportation providers to secure required documentation for customer billingFacilitate and improve the efficiency of the current billing cycle time from carrier freight bill to client payment; continuously seek opportunities to improve current processesQUALIFICATIONSAt a minimum, you'll need:1 year of experience in audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load planning or transportationlogisticsIt'd be great if you also have:Associate degree in Business or TransportationLogistics, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with Microsoft OfficeStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceCategory Code: JN005
