Job Title: Molding Process EngineerLocation: East Hanover, NJIndustry: manufacturingStatus of Hire: direct placement; permanentPay: $110k-$120k Hours: 8am-5pmBenefits: medical, dental, vision, 401K program, educational assistance program, PTO, paid holidays, team building activities and more!Summary: Our highly respected precision metal stamping and injection molding client is seeking a skilled and motivated Molding Process Engineer to join their team in East Hanover, NJ. This person will be a member of the Molding Department Team that focuses on producing parts that meet all Customer specifications at or below standard cost and in a clean and safe environment.Job Duties:Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) on all new tooling programs to establish the optimum moldingmanufacturing process.Create and maintain all process andor manufacturing related documentation.Be a Leader of the Molding Department's Continuous Improvement Team.Participate as a member of the new program developmentquoting team.Participate as a member of the APQP Project team as it relates to Molding Tooling.Participate in all ISOQSTS internal and external audits related to the Molding department.Promote cleanliness and safety policies and procedures throughout the entire Company.Assist in design and fabrication for new mold tooling and identify needed molding technologies (equipmentsensors) to advance capabilities.Qualifications and Requirements:BSME or Plastics related degree required.At least 5 years' experience with plastic process development of high tolerance plastic parts.Extensive knowledge of engineering grade plastics as it relates to plastic processing.Advanced knowledge of Mold tooling requiredKnowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) as it relates to plastic processing.Scientific molding expertise: Master Molder preferredMust possess good analytical and problem-solving skillsMust have good written and verbal communication skillsMust be a driven self-starter with the ability to multi-task and set priorities with little supervisionMust be a team player with the ability to interact effectively across departmentsMust have good windows-based PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)ISOQSTS knowledge preferredBi-Lingual (English & Spanish) a plus**Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time **Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, and background check to be eligible for hire We are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
