Must Haves:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in reliability engineering to include PM optimization, RCM, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysisKnowledgeable in the following systems: Instrument and Electrical, Mechanical, Process Improvement Methodologies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)Proven expertise in planningorganizingexecuting of maintenance activities, following up on results, and revising the work plan for complex problems being resolved by cross functional teamsPluses:Master's Degree in Engineering or related fieldPharmaceutical manufacturing experienceJob Description:A pharmaceutical manufacturing client in the Clayton, NC I seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their growing team.Responsibilities:Develop optimized reliability management strategies for equipment, processes, and facilityDrive shift from reactive to preventive and condition based maintenanceWork with planners to establish and optimize PM process including use of information systems for scheduling and reportingCoach and mentor Engineers, Planners, and Technicians on reliability practices and component failure mechanismsProactively identify cost savings and downtime reduction opportunitiesSupport technical development of Maintenance Techs in the areas of failure mechanisms and failure detection and preventive techniques including PdMDevelops reliability strategies based upon FMEAEmploy advanced cLEAN® and reliability engineering tools with a focus on increasing process reliability and availabilityDetermines the use of predictive maintenance technologiesConducts root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to identify and eliminate failure modesSupport implementation of one DFP better practices and participate in sharing knowledge across all sites for improvement projectsMaintain and establish maintenance standards
