Process Engineer

A client of SciPro's is working with a major, innovative pharmaceutical manufacturer and in need of a Process Engineer or Senior Process Engineer to join their team.This person will have the opportunity to step in and work with one of the most respected organizations in pharmaceutical manufacturing while reporting to a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing consulting firm. Supporting the manufacturing process for Monoclonal Antibody treatments.Job DescriptionReport into tech lead and process engineering managerTrouble shoot equipment issues - heavily focused on bulk drug substance manufacturingWorking with custom, stainless steel Upstream and Downstream equipmentExperience in automationability to independently troubleshoot equipment and automation based manufacturingRequirements5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturingKnowledge of bulk drug substance manufacturing process (mAbs or other biologics)Hands on experience on the floor, troubleshooting equipmentUnderstanding of process control automationProactive nature and willingness to drive solutionsDetails40 hrswk onsite in Frederick, MD (M-F; standard hours)6-month initial contract with opportunity to extend$50-70hr on W2
