You must be obsessed by the need to be useful and to have a beneficial impact on the world.You have to be curious and show a strong passion for what you do (in all aspects of your life).Be honest and accept a mode of communication based on radical transparency, where the mission comes before egos.All of the above must be evident when looking at your background.Aptitudes:Smart, able to quickly and deeply understand problems or situations Learning capacities, master quickly unfamiliar knowledge Ability to focus, get intensely immersed in subjects and get sh*t doneAll of the above must be evident when looking at your background.Skills:A minimum of 3+ years of full-time experience, with hands-on experience building production grade pipelines.MS, PhD, or self-taught in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with a deep understanding of system design, algorithms, and distributed computing.Strong software engineering skills, including API development, programming languages versatility (Python, TypeScript, Rust, Go, or C++).Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including PostgreSQL, S3, MongoDB, Redis, GraphDB, and scalable storage solutions.Experience building LLM applications or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) products using Python.Experience with knowledge graphs and vector databases (Chroma, Pinecone...).Ability to architect high-performance, scalable, and secure systems with proper observability, monitoring, and alerting.End-to-end pipeline ownership - from data ingestion and processing to model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.CICD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Argo Workflows, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform...).Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures).Strong background in DevOps, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.Front-end desktop application experience (e.g., Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, Electron, Tauri).Strong grasp of data streaming, real-time processing, and working with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ...).Built several production-grade pipelines from scratch, integrating ML models, databases, and scalable hosting.Experience processing and managing large datasets efficiently, including ETL pipelines and distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Ray...).Strong understanding of authentication, authorization (OAuth, JWT, SSO...) and data security policies (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA compliance).Ability to work across the full stack (front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and ML integration).Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured startup environment.Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to tackle complex problems with a first-principles approach.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders.Nice to Have:Passion for AI & ML, with a drive to stay ahead of state-of-the-art developments in LLMs, NLP, STT (Speech-to-Text), and multimodal models.Experience optimizing retrieval and ranking systems, including efficient indexing (inverted indexes, trie, graph-based search), hybrid search (dense + sparse retrieval), query expansion, result re-ranking (BM25, learning-to-rank, ColBERT), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.Experience with server-less and event-driven architectures (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, EventBridge).Experience designing highly interactive, modern, and intuitive UIs for technical applications.Background in graph-based AI, embedding techniques, and multi-agent systems.All of the above must be evident when looking at your background.As a Founding Engineer in Full Stack & DevOps at Episodic, you will:Own the full end-to-end pipeline, from data ingestion, training, and validation to deployment and monitoring in production.Develop and scale infrastructure to support high-performance AI applications.Create state of the art algorithms for internal solutions.Design robust API between the front and beck-end of the application.Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure for AI workloads using AWSGCPAzure.Develop full features, including natural language processing (NLP), LLM, RAG, Graph, speech-to-text and APIs.Implement security best practices in model deployment and data handling.Serve as an engineer, writing clean, scalable, and efficient code across the stack.Design and implement AI-driven features, full-stack applications, and core systems, starting from the MVP.Collaborate closely with the team to align the technical roadmap with the product vision.Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.Benefits:Join us in shaping the future!
