Junior Construction Manager

The Role The Junior Construction Manager, based in Albany, NY, will serve as the "eyes and ears" on-site, ensuring smooth coordination of subcontractor activities and maintaining site conditions. This salaried position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordination and management of subcontractor activitiesMaintaining site conditions (site cleanup, rut repairs, etc.)Maintaining internal communication with the Project and Construction ManagersSWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) adjustments and back-drag on-site as neededServe as the on-site steward, ensuring safety, health, and cleanlinessComplete daily project reports with photos in ProcoreAssist with offloading equipment and coordinating material deliveries to siteParticipate in weekly virtual meetings ("Teams" meetings) with clients and subcontractors (listening not leading role only).Training Requirements:If not currently certified, candidates must be willing to obtain the following certifications:• OSHA 30• CPR and First Aid• NYS DEC 4-Hour Erosion & Sediment Control CertificationRequired Skills and Attributes: • Ability to operate a skid steer.• Strong communication skills.• Proactive and forward-thinking approach.• Ambitious and self-motivated.• Detail-oriented and organized.• Basic tech-savviness.We are looking for candidates who are eager to get into the entrepreneurial spirit of the company who are motivated by the opportunity to develop and grow as the company continues to scale.
