Laboratory Technician

Job Description: The Laboratory Technician will complete routine analytical and laboratory testing in support of the food safety, quality, and operational teams. We are looking for a hardworking individual who will perform routine analysis of product testing, be responsible for checking and monitoring instrumentation performance, and conduct tests under intermediate supervision. In this role, you will document results into databases and communicate test results.Key responsibilities include:Performing routine analysis of product testingChecking and monitoring instrumentation performanceConducting tests and documenting results in databasesCommunicating test results to internal customersHelping develop a foodfeed safety, quality, and regulatory culture by collaborating cross-functionallyRunning calibration checks, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and conducting simple repairs to analytical instrumentationMaintaining customer specification books up-to-dateConducting routine quantitative and qualitative inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process, and final products independentlySupporting more complex trials and experiments under intermediate supervisionHandling clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues under general supervision and escalating more complex issues as neededReading and interpreting documents (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals)Writing routine reports and correspondence
