Project Engineer (Production focused)_Madison-WI _Full-Time (FTE)_Direct Hire Position: Project Engineer (Production focused) Job Type: Full-Time (FTE) Location:Madison-WI Base Salary: $80,000 to $115,000 +Best-in-class benefits In this role, a Project Engineer will bring: Blend of Technical and Project Responsibilities: * Oversees testing, process improvements, and supplier changes. * Reviews drawings, technical data, and supports corrective actions. * Assists in implementation of engineering projects while working alongside the Program Manager. Engineering-Focused Tasks: * Conducts research on new materials and processes. * Leads failure analysis and works on continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean and Six Sigma). * Supports testing, particularly ballistics testing and analysis. Supportive Role in Larger Projects: * Supports project implementation rather than leading full-scale projects. * Collaborates with teams and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), indicating a technical support focus.
