Quality Control Lead

Tri-Tech Forensics assembles convenience kits to support first responders. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand the importance of maintaining product quality for our customers. This company offers an amazing worklife balance- no travel and only 40-hour work week.Quality Lead RoleDaily management and oversight of a small team of quality inspectors performing routine quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing productsDevelop maintain files with bill of materials and photos inspectors use to inspect each product.Maintain product library with current product samples and specifications.Review completed inspection records for accuracy.Maintain email communications with production, purchasing & warehouse teams on status of inspections.Fill in as needed when inspectors are absent.Support shipping by verifying critical pending shipments have been inspected.Looking through specifications to understand the design requirements of productsMeasuring product dimensions, examining the functionality of products, and comparing the final products to see if standards are metDocumenting inspection findings, and completing detailed reports and performance recordsSupport Quality team:Annual calibration effortsData entry & filingContainmentsEducating the production team on quality control processes, concerns, and standards of product qualityKeeping their job knowledge up to date by participating in educational opportunitiesMaintaining a healthy and safe working environment by complying with company safety policies.Successful candidates will have:A positive attitudeAbility to get along with co-workersA good work ethic focused on attendance, accuracy and efficiencySome college, degree not neededPrevious management experienceExcellent near vision (with corrective lenses if needed)Ability to measure product with a rulerAbility to count accuratelyBasic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisionBasic Computer skillsBasic Excel skillsDetail orientedAbility to sit or stand for up to 3 hours
