We are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer Manager as part of our leadership team that will provide technical expertise as well as drive culture of safety and quality first. Responsibilities include:Encourages and inspires direct reports to drive team participation, engagement, personnel development, and continuous improvement. Leads a team to perform research, design and develop manufacturing processes including production flow, robust work instructions, inspection methods and inspection frequency requirements, production equipment requirements, and assembly methods.Aid in the evaluation and implementation for non-conforming product dispositions for MRB and correctivepreventive actions.Develops and tests system methods to ensuring product conformance, while conscious of skillsets needed, efficiency, and costs.Represents manufacturing engineering on cross-functional teams.Acts as a champion for using Lean and Six Sigma methodology.Mentors the team on process development using tools like PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Flow Diagrams.Advises the leadership team on new products and alternate manufacturing processes.Required Knowledge & Skills:5 years or more of experience in project management or supervisory experience desired. 5 years or more of experience working with Swiss type automatics.Swiss programming experience is essential. CAM software experience (Esprit) preferred.Track record of problem solving and solid decision making, with an ability to lead cross-functionaldepartment teams.A good understanding of robust process development and documentation requirements.Technical specifications instructions and processing methods for miniature, tightly tolerance, intricate machine-turned parts.Experience with a variety of subcontract processes such as Plating, Anodizing, Heat, Grinding, Passivation, and PackagingExperience in raw material selection and DFARs complianceOwner of all engineering processes, implementation, and improvement.Owner of Process Control: UtilizeControl ERP System and product processes.Ability to mentor and train junior engineersExperienced with non-conforming product dispositions for MRB and correctivepreventive actions.Validation plansprotocols processes (PPAP) with a thorough understanding of advanced quality & process planning (APQP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).We offer a full benefit package including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, annual bonuses, PTO, sick days and 401K with a company match.
